Best NBA Player Props for March 30: Oubre Ready to Shine Against Miami

With tip-offs running from 7 p.m. through 10 p.m. ET, hoops fans have no shortage of betting options to dig into, including a deep and enticing menu of NBA player props.

Below, we break down the “games within the game” and deliver our top NBA picks and predictions for March 30.

Best NBA Player Props Today

  • Player: Rui Hachimura  |  Pick: Over 1.5 threes  |  Price: -125
  • Player: Julian Champagnie  |  Pick: Over 9.5 points  |  Price: -130

Prop #1: Kelly Oubre Jr. Over 9.5 Points

Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre Jr. made his return to the court on Saturday following an eight-game absence caused by an elbow injury.

Oubre came off the bench for Philadelphia, but still played 28 minutes in his comeback game — showing a bit of ring rust along the way. He put up nine points on 3-of-5 shooting, yet looked fully healthy, highlighted by a highlight-reel dunk over Charlotte Hornets big man Moussa Diabaté in the final quarter.

Oubre, who self-described his return as “ehh” on Instagram, is expected to take on a larger role when the Sixers face the Miami Heat on Monday. Philadelphia is fighting for positioning, sitting just half a game back of the Atlanta Hawks for the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference — doing everything they can to stay out of Play-In territory.

Miami should be favorable hunting grounds for Oubre to rediscover his rhythm. The Heat rank among the league’s worst defensive units since the All-Star break, surrendering more than 122 points per game across their last 14 contests.

Oubre is averaging over 14 points per game on the season, and Monday’s player projections have him tracking between 11 and 13 points. Our own projection lands just above 12 points, making the Over 9.5 a strong-value trade tonight.

Prop #2: Rui Hachimura Over 1.5 Threes

The Los Angeles Lakers will be without superstar Luka Doncic when they take on the Washington Wizards, meaning offensive opportunities will be redistributed throughout the rest of the roster.

Rui Hachimura returned from injury at just the right moment to absorb some of that extra offensive load. He played 26 minutes against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday — his most demanding workload since going down with an injury in mid-March.

Hachimura finished that contest with eight points and went 0-for-2 from three-point range, but with Doncic unavailable Monday night, he’s poised for a larger perimeter role. While player projections point toward a scoring uptick in general, the more compelling value appears to lie in his three-point prop specifically.

When Hachimura scores, he tends to do it from beyond the arc. Without Luka on the floor, LeBron James shifts into more of a facilitator role, driving and kicking out to wing shooters like Hachimura stationed on the perimeter.

Looking at Rui’s eight appearances in games where Doncic didn’t play, he knocked down two or more three-pointers in five of them. Some books have this prop priced as high as Over 1.5 at -172, but it can be found as low as -125 at bet365.

Prop #3: Julian Champagnie Over 9.5 Points

The San Antonio Spurs are chasing the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and are well-positioned to pick up a victory when they host the visiting Chicago Bulls on Monday night.

Power forward Julian Champagnie has been heating up at just the right moment. After a prolonged scoring slump for much of the month, he has averaged over 11 points per game over the last six contests.

His three-point shooting has been the driving force behind that surge, as he has connected on 15 of 38 attempts from distance during that stretch — a 39.5% clip. He has drained at least three triples in four of those six games.

Meanwhile, Chicago has been in freefall in the Eastern Conference standings, managing just one win across their last six outings. The Bulls have been giving up nearly 132 points per game during that skid, and with an abundance of scoring opportunities likely on the table, Champagnie’s projections sit above 11 points for Monday.
